Matter is a smart-home standard that supports compatible devices across platforms. Our Smart package uses Matter motors. We check your selected shade, controller, and platform before you order, so the controls and routines you want match the equipment in your home.

Some setups need a compatible hub or additional equipment. Tell us the exact device models you use. We confirm what is needed, including any additional equipment cost, before you order.

Simple pricing, real warranty

Our Smart package adds $200 per shade to the base shade price for eligible styles — that includes the Matter smart motor, pairing and setup with your confirmed compatible smart-home system, and a 5-year warranty backed by the same local crew that installed it. Available power options depend on the selected shade and installation; we confirm them in your quote.

Explore motorized options for indoor shades, specialty windows, and outdoor patio shades. We confirm suitable motors and controls for each product. Roman and woven wood shades are available with motorized operation only.

Do they work without internet?

Matter supports local communication. Which controls and automations remain available during an internet outage depends on your equipment and platform. We confirm the setup and explain its requirements for your home.

Do I need a hub?

The required equipment depends on the motor and platform. Matter-over-Thread setups need a compatible Matter controller and Thread border router; some hubs provide both. We check your exact device models and explain any additional equipment needed before you order.

What if I switch from iPhone to Android (or vice versa)?

Matter can support compatible shades across different smart-home platforms. Switching may require new setup steps or different controller equipment. Contact us with the system you plan to use so we can check compatibility.

Can I mix manual and smart shades in one project?

Yes, where those controls are available for your selected shade styles. You can choose controls window by window. Roman and woven wood shades are available with motorized operation only.

How is this different from other motorized shade systems?

Our Motorized package provides remote control. The Smart package uses a Matter-compatible motor for additional controls through a compatible home system. We explain the available features, any required equipment, and the setup included for your selected shades.
