Where we install — city by city
Rainier Blinds is based in Auburn, WA, and installs custom blinds, shades & drapery within 60 driving miles of Auburn, with farther-away projects considered individually — from Seattle and the Eastside down through Tacoma and the South Sound. Pick your city below for what we typically see in local homes.
Auburn
Auburn is home base. Our local team brings samples, measures your project, and installs your selected treatments.
Seattle
Seattle homes ask more of window treatments than almost anywhere else — steep light angles off the water, older character homes, and modern towers of glass.
Tacoma
Tacoma's housing stock runs from 1900s North End craftsman homes to brand-new builds out toward the East Side — each needs a different approach.
Bellevue
Bellevue homeowners tend to ask for two things: clean modern looks and smart-home integration — exactly what we do best.
Redmond
Newer construction and connected homes, where the smart move is specifying shades before the drywall closes.
Issaquah
Hillside homes with tall angled glass, big views, and a lot of direct afternoon light to manage.
Sammamish
Two-story great rooms and tall plateau windows, most of it well out of arm’s reach.
Mercer Island
Protecting the view and everything the light falls on, without putting anything heavy in front of the glass.
Newcastle
West-facing hillside lots with a skyline view that turns into glare by late afternoon.
Kent
Kent is close to our Auburn base, with shade options for established homes and newer great-room windows.
Federal Way
We measure and install in Federal Way, with options for privacy and west-facing sun around Twin Lakes, Dash Point, and Redondo.
Renton
From the Highlands to Kennydale to new construction in Talbot and Benson, Renton is a regular stop for our install crew.
Puyallup
Puyallup and the South Hill area are an easy run down the valley from our Auburn shop, and a growing share of our install calendar.
Covington
We serve Covington from our Auburn base, with options for tall windows, privacy, and afternoon glare.
Maple Valley
From Four Corners to the neighborhoods around Lake Wilderness, we measure and install custom shades throughout Maple Valley.
Bonney Lake
Up on the plateau, Bonney Lake homes get sun — and views — that valley homes don't, about 20 minutes from our Auburn home base.
Lake Tapps
Waterfront light is beautiful and brutal. We measure and install custom shades around Lake Tapps, minutes from our Auburn home base.
Sumner
From craftsman homes near downtown to newer construction across the valley, we measure and install custom shades throughout Sumner.
